It really does sound like a circus. I was a little confused, reading through the latest posts, about why he couldn't go home to his family, but had to look for a new home. I must haved missed something. It added a weird note of pathos - but so funny when he forgot he had a car.
Him and the missus are/were splitting up a couple of months back. The new home must mean they're still splitting up.
I loved the "Pole... Pole!... Pole!!" thing with the camera persons walking backwards into bits of the bridge. I wonder if there's a specific clause for that in their insurance covering dents to the back of the head?
